במהלך השבוע האחרון בימים שני – חמישי 7-10/1/2013 הגיעה משלחת מטעם אוניברסיטת T.I.M בבוסטון ללמד בבית ספרנו. המשלחת כללה חמישה סטודנטים מצטיינים מהאוניברסיטה כאשר כל אחד מהם מתמחה בתחום אחר כגון: מדעי המחשב, כלכלה, מדעי המוח, הנדסה ועוד.
הכיתה שנבחרה לצורך הפרויקט היא הכיתה המדעית של שכבת כיתות י’ בהנחייתה של מחנכת הכיתה, גב’ ענת טפר.
בכל יום במהלך ארבעת הימים במשך שש שעות עבדו הסטודנטים עם התלמידים בכתה בנושאים שונים כגון: פיתוח רעיוני של פרויקטים לסיוע בקהילה, עמידה מול קהל, חשיבה יצירתית, משא ומתן ועוד.
תלמידי הכתה חולקו לקבוצות קטנות כאשר לכל כתה היה מנחה סטודנט. כל קבוצה ניסתה לפתח רעיון ואחר כך להציגו ולשווקו לשאר הכתה.
התלמידים והמורים דיווחו על מפגשים מעניינים שבמסגרתם הם למדו המון וחוו חוויה מיוחדת במינה.
בסוף היום הרביעי והאחרון נערך מפגש סיום מרגש בנוכחות ד”ר רונית אשכנזי, סמנכ”לית פדגוגיה של רשת עמל, מנהל ביה”ס מר מקס סיון, גב’ ורד פלמנבאום, מנהלת התחום החברתי-ערכי של רשת עמל, מר עמרי בר און מרשת עמל האחראי על הפרויקט, ד”ר דניאלה פלדמן, האחראית על קשרי החוץ בביה”ס, מחנכת הכתה, גב’ ענת טפר, הסטודנטים והתלמידים.
הטקס נמשך כשעה ובמהלכו הציגה כל קבוצה את סיכום הפרויקט שלה, נציגת התלמידים הודתה במילים חמות לסטודנטים שגם הם הביעו את התרגשותם מכל התהליך שעברו התלמידים.
ד”ר רונית אשכנזי בירכה את הסטודנטים והתלמידים שכל אחד מהם קיבל תעודת השתתפות, והתלמידים העניקו לסטודנטים תשורה בדמות תמונה קבוצתית מרגשת.
אין ספק כי פרויקט מעין זה העצים את תלמידי הכתה שחוו חוויה מיוחדת במינה. הפרויקט שם דגש על נושא העצמת התלמידים מתוך תפיסה חינוכית שיש בביה”ס תלמידים בעלי יכולות גבוהות שזקוקים להזדמנויות נאותות להראות את יכולותיהם.
הפרויקט הוגדר כהצלחה גדולה ואנו מקווים להפוך אותו למסורת שנתית בביה”ס.

It was interesting to learn from people that live in another place, that has different culture and compliantly different people. I loved doing this project with you and learning to think out of the box.

Thanks for your support, investment and the great time we had together. I think that you are doing something good that encourages us the next generation, this program gives us motivation for doing something that we thought is impossible.
It isn’t obvious that you, students from M.I.T come to our country, to Israel and help us, teach us about innovation and other qualities that will help us in the grownups world.
